This policy explains how OfferKu handles information while providing career-preparation resources, self-guided practice tools, and clearly priced human services. It applies to the OfferKu website, accounts, orders, self-assessment tool, and materials you choose to submit to us.
When you register or contact support, we may handle your name, email address, sign-in method, and any phone number or other contact information you voluntarily provide. The self-assessment form itself does not ask for your name.
The skills assessment and AI PM portfolio check are non-standardized, self-reported practice tools. Neither asks you to upload a resume or portfolio. After completion, the current browser stores the relevant result summary:
When you submit a tool, we send a no-name start or completion event to enabled analytics services. Properties may include the tool identifier, version, total score, result band, recommended path, suggested starting stage, or weak dimensions. Individual answer selections are not sent through these events. Analytics services may still process IP address, browser, device, referrer, cookie, or session information according to their configuration, so “no name” does not mean fully anonymous.
The skills assessment attempts to delete its browser record when you restart it. The portfolio check retains the latest result summary so the next completed check can show a score change on the same browser; its result page includes a “Delete saved result” control. You can also clear local storage through your browser settings.
We may use enabled analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Plausible, Umami, or Vercel Analytics to understand page views, acquisition sources, feature usage, and conversion events. The tools actually enabled can change with site configuration. Different providers may process IP, device, browser, cookie, or session identifiers. You can use browser privacy, cookie, or blocking controls to limit this processing.
Payment providers process card or other payment credentials. OfferKu does not ordinarily receive or store full card numbers. We retain order information needed for fulfillment and accounting, such as order number, product, amount, currency, payment provider, payment status, refund history, and account identifier.
When you purchase a review, coaching, project sprint, or institutional service, we may handle resumes, portfolios, target roles, service communications, feedback, and progress records that you submit. Do not send identity documents, account passwords, unredacted employer secrets, complete payment credentials, or sensitive information unrelated to the service.
If you voluntarily apply to the anonymized case program, we may also handle the original and revised drafts you provide, the authorized scope, requested redactions, and publication-confirmation records. The first inquiry does not require a complete file. A public case should be published only after written confirmation of the proposed version and exact scope, with names, contact details, schools, employers, project code names, internal links, and other unnecessary identifiers removed. De-identification reduces but cannot eliminate the risk of re-identification from context.
We use information only where applicable to provide requested services, fulfill orders, maintain accounts and security, respond to inquiries, improve the product, perform necessary analytics, comply with legal obligations, or act with your consent. We do not sell personal information.
We share information only as necessary with providers supporting hosting, authentication, payments, email, analytics, and customer support. To deliver a purchased human service, we may also provide necessary materials to the assigned service professional. We may disclose information where required by law, to protect legitimate rights and safety, or with your consent.
Third-party providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Processing locations depend on the provider and deployment configuration.
We keep information for as long as needed to provide services, administer orders and refunds, resolve disputes, protect security, and meet legal obligations. You control browser-local self-assessment records. Service materials are deleted or de-identified when no longer needed, although legal requirements, backup cycles, or disputes may require some records to remain longer. Case materials may be withdrawn before publication. We will act promptly on later deletion requests, but cannot control copies already cached, quoted, or downloaded by third parties. We may retain necessary consent and withdrawal-handling records to document the authorized scope.
We use access controls, transmission safeguards, and permission management appropriate to the risk, but no internet transmission or electronic storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold; unsubscribe from non-essential communications; or ask about other legal rights available to you. We may need to verify your identity and may retain records required for fulfillment, accounting, disputes, or law.
You can clear cookies and local storage through your browser. Disabling some features may affect sign-in, purchases, or saved preferences.
The service is not directed to children who cannot legally consent to the relevant data processing. Contact us if you believe a child provided personal information without appropriate authorization.
We may update this policy and will identify the updated date at the top of the page. Where reasonably practical, material changes will also be explained through an on-page notice or another appropriate method.
